Kimmy is a silly, active child, who is constantly on the move and loves to make people laugh. Just try not to smile watching her put her headphones on and dance, bop and bounce around to her favorite artists like Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. Her next favorite thing is to ride her bike. In school Kimmy loves PE and is learning to use visual aids so she can continue to increase her communication skills. Kimmy is affectionate when she trusts you and will grab your hand and hold it.
Kimmy currently resides in a facility that is best equipped to meet her medical needs. However, she only resides in this facility because there are currently no caregivers in Washoe County willing or able to meet her needs. Kimmy desires and deserves to live in a home with a family she can call her own. Her current placement, in collaboration with Washoe County medical staff will train prospective caregivers how to best meet each of Kimmy’s needs. Prospective caregivers must be calm, kind, patient and allow her to be active.
